Sublease vs. lease takeover.

A sublease is when an existing tenant lets you live in their place for part of their lease term. They stay on the lease; you pay them. A lease takeover is the opposite: you replace them on the lease and deal with the landlord yourself. Need a place for a few months? Sublease. Want the lease in your name?
